The median salary for a digital agency digital photographer is $79,000, according the report, which also found that 70% of digital agency photographers are male.
While the median salary in this sector is not as high as for other industries, it is still well above the national median, which is $61,000.
The study also found a gender disparity in the wedding photographer field.
Only 10% of women photographers work in digital agency, compared to 20% of men, and nearly 60% of people in the digital agency workforce are men.

The median wage for a photographer working for an agency in 2016 was $74,600, according an analysis of agency earnings from data firm Technomic.
The average hourly wage was $23.39 for a wedding photographer, and the median hourly wage for digital agency employees was $47.19.
Digital agencies have been steadily increasing their workforce for the past decade, as companies such as Apple, Amazon and Facebook have embraced the use of online platforms and other platforms to attract talent.
